Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress who is best recognized for her appearances in TV series The Shield and True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she made her debut as an actor in the year 2003. Anna's role in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first big breakthrough. However it was her role as the women's rights campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer from the documentary film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actor. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the series for a new season. Hind has recently completed filming for the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will be released at the beginning of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj passed away in March of 2017 following a lengthy career as a scientist for the Indian Army. Vrinda, her mother, is a homemaker. Aditya Rai is her older brother is an engineer in the merchant marine industry. Bachchan's brother produced and co-wrote Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. Arya Vidya Mandir was the school that Bachchan went to after her family moved to Mumbai. Bachchan was a student of architecture in 1994, when she won the title of Miss World. This title pushed her into the modeling industry's rapid track. Her lucrative jobs in PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine along with her deal as a spokesmodel in partnership with L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. Bachchan had a popular acting career through her appearances in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan gained prominence as a star in the New Bollywood because both films transformed the Bollywood film structure to the upside. Bachchan was made the queen of Bollywood due to her heartbreaking performance as Paro the character of a jilted love in Devdas (2002), one of Bollywood's most popular movies. Devdas also happened to be the very first Bollywood film to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher bali (2003) was her next film she starred in that earned her acclaim. It's a thriller that is based on Rabindranath tagore's novel. In the same year, she was chosen as the very first Indian actor on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan played the role of Bride and Prejudice, a musical and dancing adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. It was at this point that Bachchan made her famous by bringing star power and attractiveness to her first major English-language film. She returned to Bollywood for the smash Dhoom: 2 (2006) before releasing Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. She got married Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star and son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage was a chance to bring two of India's most influential personalities to one another.
