Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actor. She made her movie debut as the Bond girl on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Donnevan's role in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) also play roles. Doody was a model when she was approached by a aspiring photographer. She has since transformed into commercial modeling. Doody was averse to glamour and nude work. This was a principle that was carried into her acting. She was cast in a minor part as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill when her name was picked by the casting director.
